I plan on checking out some of the things on your reading lost thanks for posting
Thanks for the music rec! It was fun, I like that sort of ridiculous kick they used about halfway through. The reading list is pretty dry, but my hobby is reading academic papers so I thought I'd include some on my page. Please let me know if you have trouble with access to anything you'd like to read. I was thinking of hosting some of the PDFs on my site but have heard stories of Google Scholar crawling Neocities sites for PDFs and would really hate for my version to be the one that shows up by default. That's a level of visibility to the publisher that I'm scared of, haha
oh i am also linkin ur site !!
hi i love ur site! its just wow amazing 10/10/ I like how your blog links to different entries... I might steal that idea haha. Right now I just have an endless page of scrolling entries and it would be nice to do a big clean up at some point.
I found your page though status cafe, I saw that your pfp was a goblin - and someone who also have a goblin persona that was a big click for me
!
Thank you! It's a very simple static site generator-type of site, but I have fun playing with the CSS to make it more fun. Part of the fun for me is working within a strange constraint like this
I love your goblinsona and drew a picture of them on your drawbox page! When I next update my site I'll add your link to my page too.
Your site is very charming, I love all the Pikmins roaming around <3 I hope you'll have a pleasant day!
Thank you! I need to get around to de-winterizing the theme and moving the Pikmin around a bit for the new layout; sadly the new semester has hit me and made it quite difficult to spend time on leisure pursuits like my website. Maybe during spring break...? Hope you have a pleasant day too!
I was just looking around your site for a link back button (building my links page now) and I saw you have included my button on yours!! what a lovely surprise, I think you are the first person to do so
my button is pretty awful, I made it on paint lol. Do you have any suggestions for easier ways to make a custom one? I don't have Adobe ! ur site is looking so seasonal and cute btw
Thank you so much! I actually quite like your button; but if you are interested in making pixel art I suggest Aseprite, which can technically be compiled for free from their Github, but I did end up spending the $20 after a while to support them.
This is a wonderful page; I love your design
.
Thank you so much! I just recently updated it for the Christmas season. Your music suggestion is great too; I'm actually working on a playlist of Irish folk music so I've added it to the list
Gorgeous all the way through. How on earth did you get these overlays to behave!?
Thank you! I set them to have pointer-events:none and allowed the divs to oh-so-slightly overlap with the main text area. There is also some CSS calculation with vw so that they scale responsively with the screen and disappear in the mobile view. I’ll check out the song you recommended too
hey! enjoyed reading your blog :^) and i love your site layout!
Thank you! I'll keep updating my site as time goes on, so I hope you come back and keep liking my layout as it evolves! :~)
@Ghuu Hello! Thank you for your enthusiasm :-) I hope you enjoy this blog as it evolves over time. @Kris Hi! Thank you for enjoying my web site. I think it's really quite wonderful that so many of the foods that we eat were all derived from the same species once upon a time. Veggies rock!
Hey fellow neocitizen!! sweet page! and I like that it taught me more about both broccoli and you. Glad to see another VEGETABLE enthusiast!!
Hi Veronica!!! Excited about the new blog :-)
