I've been trying to find that sweet spot of something that's animated and lively without seeming overly busy or overwhelming, so it's really heartening to hear that I've accurately hit my target with you. Living with an incurable genetic disease is really quite tough indeed, but thankfully I think I've been able to find a treatment that mostly works now, and to be honest a lot of the suffering was in the not knowing what was wrong/worrying that I was going to die/etc. so I'm so glad to have that behind me as well! I will add your button to my wall in the next update, and thank you for reading my site!!

Thank you haha! Unfortunately I had to make it a little less aggressive because I noticed on certain browsers that it was making my computer slow down a lot. Hopefully I have found the sweet spot between aggressiveness and performance this time! But a website is always a work in progress x)

Thanks for the music rec! It was fun, I like that sort of ridiculous kick they used about halfway through. The reading list is pretty dry, but my hobby is reading academic papers so I thought I'd include some on my page. Please let me know if you have trouble with access to anything you'd like to read. I was thinking of hosting some of the PDFs on my site but have heard stories of Google Scholar crawling Neocities sites for PDFs and would really hate for my version to be the one that shows up by default. That's a level of visibility to the publisher that I'm scared of, haha
